Thanksgiving

NTCS will be closed from Friday, October 11th, 2024 to Monday, October 14th, 2024 for the Thanksgiving long weekend.


Friday is a P.D. Day for NTCS. We wish families a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Organized by our senior student Service and Leadership team members, NTCS will be having a Thanksgiving Food Drive from October 3rd to October 10th. Collected food donations will go to The Grace Place Food Bank in Scarborough to support families in need.

Fall Chandos

The Fall Chandos schedule for Grade 3 to 12 students has been published in the September Newsletter. Please refer to the newsletter for your child's scheduled Chandos dates. An information letter regarding your child's upcoming trip will be sent a week before their scheduled trip date.

I have a lot of great memories from my time at NTCS/TYS. In particular, I remember our trips to Chandos fondly. They were a really unique opportunity that sparked a love for the outdoors that has stayed with me to this day. On a recent camping trip, I could almost hear Dr. Jay's voice reminding me that settlers used birch bark as kindling for their campfires.

One of my best memories would be Mr. Collins' senior year law class. From the subject matter that we learned, to the essays that we wrote, to the mock trials that we were regularly engaged in, it was a course that was not only fun and interesting but one that had us always thinking critically.
